Hello, my name is Geraldine O'Driscoll and I am a fully qualified and insured member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists which means that I am professionally trained in all of the disciplines you will find in the pages of this website.

I began training in the various disciplines in early 2000 and have been practising as a therapist since 2004, although I have been a practising health professional for some thirty years, initially training as a nurse, specialising in special baby care, moving on to practice as a midwife for a number of years, then on to qualifying and practising as a health visitor. In 2005 my career in health took another turn and I am now currently employed as a specialist smoking advisor working for the Swindon PCT / Swindon & Marlborough NHS Trust.

My vocation has always been 'health' and 'welfare', with my primary focus being directed towards the health and wellbeing of mothers, mothers-to-be and babies.

I set up my business "www.holistictherapy-athome.co.uk" initially as a casual venture, but in recent years I have have come to believe that as more and more local government services are cut, there is a need to provide services of this kind. In the past year I have concentrated on balancing my full-time employment with my business and in doing so am able to offer services during the working week as well as during evenings and weekends.

As well as my career, I am a working mother to two sons and my hobbies include gardening (growing and selling plants annually to friends), reading and walking. In 2003 I took part in the Race for Life Moonwalk marathon in London.
